Raised Merbau Deck, Stairs & Under-House Screening – Emu Heights NSW

BTB Building Solutions constructed a raised Merbau timber platform deck for a residential property in Emu Heights, including new access stairs and full under-house screening.

The homeowners required improved access to the backyard as well as a solution to close in the open area beneath the house. We designed and built a deck structure with integrated stairs and installed vertical timber screening to enclose the subfloor area while still allowing ventilation.

Works included:
- Structural framing for raised platform deck
- Construction of Merbau timber decking
- New external staircase with handrail
- Privacy screening to deck perimeter
- Under-house enclosure and access door
- Replacement external cladding

The completed project created a functional outdoor entertaining area while improving privacy, safety and usability of the backyard.
