Rotten Deck Stair & Balustrade Replacement Silverdale NSW

BTB Building Solutions replaced unsafe external stairs and balustrade at a home in Silverdale after significant timber rot was discovered in the existing structure.

The original stairs, handrail and support posts had deteriorated due to prolonged exposure to weather, making the access to the front deck unsafe. The damaged materials were fully removed and new structural framing, posts, stairs and compliant balustrade were installed.

- Demolition of existing stairs and balustrade
- Removal of rotten structural posts
- Installation of new structural framing
- Construction of new external timber stairs
- Installation of compliant handrails and balustrade
- Finishing and site clean up

The new stairs now provide safe and secure access to the home and comply with current safety requirements.
